On Wednesday 15th March there is a Special Occasional Event when we have the opportunity to work alongside the Neroche Conservation Volunteers. This Event will be led by Joe Middleton, the manager for our wood.
We meet at 9:30 where the cars can park, just as the track enters the woods. The track is off to the right at the very end of Curdleigh Lane. Do not take the left fork to Woodram Farm.
We will be working at the fork in the diagonal track where the track turns to meet the top footpath. The task will be to complete the coppicing and to remove the brush left by the Contractor who has reclaimed two glades. Brush to stacked under mature tree canopies.
Wear stout boots, bring your lunch and waterproof gear, A few tools and hot drinks and biscuits will be provided. It will help us to help you if you can let us know that you are planning to come, incase of any last minute changes.
Hoping to see you on the day.
Nigel and Tony
