Our next Sunday afternoon event falls on Easter Sunday, 16th March. This could be a chance to bring the children along to explore the woods and to even lend a hand. The task is to carrying on clearing up the second glade, after the contractors recovered it earlier. It involves cutting and dragging the brush to stack it under the mature tree canopies. It has been rumoured that the Easter Bunny has been seen before in this particular spot!
Meet at 13:30 in the car parking area where the track just enters the wood. The track is off to the right at the very end off Curdleigh Lane, remember not to take the left fork to Woodram Farm.
As usual wear stout shoes, bring waterproofs and whatever tools your are prepared to, such as gloves, lopers, bowsaws, hand pruning saws or a stout rake (or even better, pitchforks!). We will have a few tools available and will provide hot drinks and biscuits.
Do let us know whether you are coming, (with a mob.no.) just incase of last minute changes, and check your EMail, Facebook or this website for updates before leaving home.
